(Chinook) The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation today announced another donation by a member of the Chinook community.

In a press release, the organization said recently, Lois Butcher of Chinook presented the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation with a donation for improvements to the Chinook Pool and Park. The organization would like to extend their sincere thanks to Lois for her commitment to the community of Chinook.

The Pool and Park foundation’s goal is to raise 3.2 million dollars to rehabilitate the cities Sweet Park and it’s nearly half a century old community pool.

The organizations website currently says their funds are just north of 1 million dollars.
