Our project plans for the project can be found here. Please keep in mind that these plans may change as time progresses and as our organization works on this project. Project Budget and Timeline

2025:
August – Start of Phase A – Pool Rehabilitation – Completed 6/2026

Phase A – Reconstruction of Chinook Pool – Complete

Phase A of the Chinook Pool was our number one priority. This phase included the reconstruction of the pool body as well as the addition of a Zero Depth gravity entrance. The existing baby pool was removed, pool gutters were replaced and the main body of the pool was rehabilitated. This began August of 2025 and was completed June 11th, 2026.

Phase B – Sweet Park Updates

This is a collaborative effort with the Sweet Park Board. Phase B will include filling in the park to grade, upgrading the sprinkler system and installing new playground equipment. This phase may also include new outdoor exercise equipment if funding allows. Plans are underway for the Park and it is projected to begin September of 2026.

Phase C – Pool House Renovations

Phase C will be the complete renovation of the Pool House including a new layout, showers, bathrooms and ADA Accessible features. We will include new changing stations, family changing rooms and more.

Below you will find proposed additions to the Chinook City Pool. We will be updating our goals and information as time progresses. Again, please keep in mind that these are preliminary ideas and plans are subject to change.
