The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation would like to recognize CHS Alumni Kris Stebar Thiel for her generous $5000 donation to the Chinook Pool and Park Rehabilitation Project.
Kris recently visited Chinook for her 40th Class Reunion and she currently resides in Spearfish, South Dakota. Kris’s donation was made in memory of her mother, Joyce Stebar, who passed away in 2010. She was not only an avid bowler, but a supporter of the pool which inspired Kris to make a donation in her name. Kris indicated that she spent countless hours at the pool when she was a kid and she is honored to make a donation in honor of her mother.
Thank you so much Kris, for supporting the Pool and Park Foundation’s cause, it’s memories like these that are so incredible. We truly appreciate the support. Donations can be made on the Pool and Park Website or by mailing them to PO Box 785 – Chinook, MT 59523.
