A local foundation is setting up a December event for some holiday-season ice skating.

The Chinook Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation are actively working toward fundraising for rehabilitation of the Pool and Park Complex.

Representatives of the foundation said they are excited to bring this fun event to the area that will give folks a chance to go ice skating at the old skating rRink in Chinook Saturday, Dec m17, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. just south of the Chinook City Pool.
