AgWest Farm Credit Grant Provides $60,000 Boost for Chinook Pool Rehabilitation Project

AgWest Farm Credit recently approved funding for a $60,000 Grant through the recommendation of their Local Advisory Committee (LAC) for the Chinook Pool and Park Project.  The Stewardship that AgWest provides to their communities that they serve, is immense, and the organization is beyond grateful for their donation towards the project.  AgWest Farm Credit believes in serving their most trusted resource, their customers, employees and their communities by helping them thrive through their LAC Grants.  They make investments in a variety of ways to support these rural communities and embrace the responsibility to help with volunteer hours and contributions to causes that improve lives.

These investments of resources in their local communities are guided by the AgWest Board of Directors and Local Advisory Committee Members, who serve as liaisons between AgWest Farm Credit and their customers and communities.

“We are pleased to award these funds to the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation and we are excited to share your project with our teams and customers” states Megan Shroyer, Montana State President of AgWest Farm Credit.

“Our Foundation is beyond grateful for the donation towards our project and we appreciate AgWest and their team as well as Lori Swanson, Local Advisory Committee member, who helped us with the submission of this Grant” states Heather DePriest, President of the Pool and Park Foundation.   “The small town of Chinook appreciates the donation towards the completion of the Pool and Park Project and we are beyond excited to start construction in August of 2025.”
